ABOUT
Meet Amyee
Nature was her first teacher.
Amyee Oen grew up in Southeast Alaska in a commercial fishing family, where life on the water and in the wilderness shaped her long before she had language for healing.
The rhythms of nature, the changing seasons, and the resilience required to live close to the land became her first education in what it means to be fully alive.

A Different Kind of Strength
Before becoming a somatic practitioner, Amyee spent years working in brutal conditions.
First on fishing boats and then in an ER, where she was a nurse developing a different kind of resilience.
She was good at all of it, but underneath all the competence and capability, something was asking for more…
THE RETURN
Amyee’s path into this work wasn't a career pivot.
It was a personal one.
It came through some of the hardest seasons of her life.
Through trauma.
Through motherhood.
Through health challenges.
What she found on the other side changed everything. Amyee realized that the same patterns that had made her successful - the overriding, the pushing through, the putting herself last - were also the patterns keeping her from herself.
